Once Upon A Time.... The Baby Powder Fiasco

Years ago, I posted these photos and this story on Facebook.  But that was before the world of blogging...well, my world of blogging.  So now I feel the need to share it with all of you.  So grab a cup of coffee, a blanket if you need one, and get comfy while I tell you a story.

Once upon a time, in the year 2010, a mama and her two girls were getting ready for bed.  In case you are wondering, the daddy was gone on a work trip.  Baths had been had, hair had been dried, and it was almost time for a story.  The mama walked up the stairs to get the favorite bedtime story off the bedside dresser.  As she was walking back down the stairs, a curious aroma met her.  Along with a white cloud.  Panicking, she rushes down the remaining stairs to find this:

In the 45 seconds it took this poor mama to retrieve the bedtime story, those precious, precious girls of hers grabbed the baby powder bottle and had a PAR-TAY!  Powder was eve-ry-where.  On the floor, on the furniture, floating in the air, and on both girls.

The mama laughed.  What else could she do, really?  Then, although usually a very independent woman, she called in reinforcements (in the form of grandparents and an aunt).  After many, many, many passes of wiping and mopping, the traces of baby powder barely remained.  Weeks later, the home still smelled pleasantly of baby powder.  Nothing like this ever happened again and everyone lived happily ever after.
