Pile on the Miles, Week 3

Monday:  2 easy miles.  My foot still hurt pretty badly, so I was testing it out.  The good news is, it actually hurt less while I was running and about the same again afterwards.  The bad news is, it still hurts.

Tuesday: 3.1 miles, in my new shoes. (<--I wish you could hear how smuggly I'm saying that!)

Thursday:  3.1 miles on the treadmill.

Saturday:  Toy Trot Fun Run.  See the story here.  1 mile.

Sunday: Morning ----> 5.3
              Afternoon --> 4
              Total --------> 9.3

Total Miles this Week: 18.5
Total Miles this Month: 40

My #POTM goal for November was 100 miles.  To reach this goal, I'll need to run 60 miles in the next two weeks.  According to my new training plan, I'll run 50 in the next two weeks.  If my foot is feeling better, I feel comfortable adding a few miles in here and there to reach my goal.  If not, I'm ok with being a little short.  I have a couple races on the schedule and I want to get there as injury-free as possible!
