A FAVORITE THINGS party!!

I hosted a "Favorite Things" party at my house last night.  (If you have't heard of them, check pinterest or google it--you'll find tons of posts and pictures.)  The guest of honor was my friend Carrie, who is one of the strongest and bravest women I know.  We were celebrating her 1 year victory over cancer!

Our gifts included:

• "Friends" picture frame--from someone who loves people, pictures, and memories
• Paper plates, cups and forks set- from someone who despises doing the dishes
• Plastic container with inspirational saying stickers inside- from someone who loves organizing and scrapbooking
• Votive candle set--from someone who enjoys setting the mood with candles, whether that mood be relaxing or romancing :)
• Anthropologie bowls and Pioneer Woman salsa- enough said.
• Bath and Body Works lotion
• Elf eyeliner and a Starbucks gift card
• Meyers all-natural cleaning spray
• Leopard scarf and gloves set--from the lady who loves fashion and informed us that leopard is the new neutral
• Bath and Body works scented plug-ins--from someone who loves for her home to smell nice

We had so much fun!  There was food, laughter, a few tears--the perfect evening with friends.  This was our first favorite things attempt, but I hope this becomes a yearly tradition for us.  And I can't wait to celebrate more years of Carrie being cancer free.
